Go to ETS2, save your game and exit. Then go to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/steam_profiles, then choose the profile that was modified today, enter its folder and copy "controls.sii" and "config_local.cfg", then go to Documents/American Truck Simulator/steam_profiles and paste the "controls.sii" and "config_local.cfg" in the profile that you want.

This way keeps your garages, starting city, drivers, trucks, XP, and purchased items intact.The only thing that may change is your money, and that's not in my control at all, it is the game server. The game picks random jobs for each driver that are appropriate for that driver's skills. You need to do nothing. What the player can do is assign trucks to garages (that you own) and assign drivers to trucks.
