The IBS itself is often the issue - and sometimes the voltage regulator. When you replace it you'll likely need two adaptor cables as they changed the design. you should have an energy diagnosis performed and ensure the car is going to sleep by observing the start button illumination a few minutes after locking.

Your BMW may not reach its optimal temperature, particularly if it’s cold out, decreasing horsepower and fuel economy. Stuck Halfway: The third way that a thermostat can fail is if it becomes stuck halfway, typically as a result of a jammed piston. This is much more common than being stuck open or closed, and is probably the least serious issue.
Engine Hesitation under Acceleration. When you start noticing your car does not want to accelerate as it formerly does, it's a symptom of a faulty Vanos solenoid. For example, you may get the feeling of stalling or that your engine wants to sputter. Another indicator is your car falling into limp mode under acceleration, the engine bogging
Newer BMW vehicles, starting from E90 335i, have engines with high-pressure fuel injection. This is a delicate system that can be damaged by low-quality fuel. High-pressure fuel pumps and injectors are the usual failure points. Symptoms include engine hard starting with long cranking, rough idle, and a yellow 1/2 ‘check engine light.
If your car cranks fine then it means your battery has a lot of high current capacity - sign of a good battery. When the car is running the alternator should have enough to keep the car electronics going unless your battery was a dead load (but it cranks so that can't be it), you would observe other phenomena like dimmed lights etc. if this were case.
Since getting DIS going, I've been very entertained by going through all the modules on my car, and through everything my car is problem free with the exception of the body control module. I'm getting a couple issue with it 1. It says there is no power detected on Terminal 15, and from what I gather I believe this correlates to the accessory
If it is bad (assuming it is not massive damage from a fire, drowning or severe electrical shorting), they will repair it for $475. This was certainly better than the approximate $1300-$1400 it would cost with a remanufactured one (taking in to account the tow and labor at the BMW dealership for re-synching it).
Try gently moving the battery cable a bit behind the glove box, and reseat the fuses by applying pressure. I had a similar electric gremlin where my car wouldn't start, or have any electronics turn on at all - battery was completely fine. Had my IBS cable replaced, but saw the problem happen one more time.
It'll not be factory, but who cares at 155K. I checked realOEM, there are no repair terminals I could find for the main battery cables at the battery box (there are repair parts for the terminals under the hood). The positive battery lead is an available part for $149 (you could probably reuse the cables you have, just cut them to good clean
