They can have more than one profession, but in the time of Guild Wars 2 they prefer to excel at one rather than split their skill between multiple as was done in GW1. Certain professions works better for certain races when it comes to lore. Such as Charr disliking Elementalist due to their history with magic and such. Frost59.

Awesome. I have been thinking about doing a GW2 homebrew for a while. This will certainly help! Especially since I still relatively new to DnD, so creating the classes was a bit daunting. Without this I probably would have just done the races, as those are easier to balance I feel. Guild wars 2 is probably considered one of the best F2P games (not including the expansions), so I whole heartedly recommend it. -----
Alway female asura on all classes and especially in WvW/PvP, because Female asura is the only one screaming Your dumb, when you die you leave a dumb corps. And that is why fell in love with Asura :D. I wanted this one to be male, but this line is indeed great! Asura.
