The "limonaie" - lemon groves - are unique: they can only be found between Limone and Gargnano. In 1995 the local Council bought the Limonaia del Castèl with the view to promote this heritage. It was restored and put back to use by planting over 100 citrus plants, restructuring the ledges and irrigation system, and rebuilding the tool shed.
