KTM’s quickshifter doesn’t come as standard on the either the standard model or the R, and both our test bikes were fitted with the ‘Tech Pack’, which costs an additional £769 and includes the up and down Quickshifter+, cruise control, MSR (engine brake control) and the Rally mode software, which allows you to trim the TC on the move.

I have a 2016 BMW R1200 RS, a '17 KTM Super Duke R, and a '19 Yamaha Tracer 900 GT. All three bikes have one and they all work great, both up and down (the Yamaha is up only) As mentioned above, they work best when riding briskly, and are more clunky when riding leisurely. All three of mine are like that. The auto blip on downshift is super cool.
